Power BI Developer

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire Power BI tenant and implement governance policies
• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports
• Build efficient data models and optimize DAX calculations for performance
• Integrate Power BI with SQL databases, cloud platforms, and APIs
• Monitor Power BI capacity, performance, and resource utilization
• Manage Power BI Premium capacities, dataset refresh schedules, and workspace provisioning
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security within reports and datasets
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver analytics
• Develop and maintain the Disaster Recovery environment and conduct periodic drills

Requirements

• Proficiency in Power BI development and interactive visualizations
• Strong understanding of DAX functions for complex calculations
• Expertise in Power Query for data transformation and ETL processes
• Ability to design efficient and scalable data models
• Strong skills in writing SQL queries and working with relational databases
• Experience with Power BI Service Administration, including workspaces and security roles
• Knowledge of Power Automate and Power Apps within the Power Platform
• Experience with Azure Synapse, Data Factory, and on-prem data gateways
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub, Azure DevOps, or ArgoCD
• Understanding of cloud networking, security, and disaster recovery concepts
