Power BI Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to support business decision-making
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources including Excel, SQL Server, and APIs
• Create and optimize data models to ensure efficient visualization and performance
• Write and troubleshoot complex DAX queries for advanced calculations and measures
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Ensure data accuracy, quality, and security across all Power BI solutions

Requirements

• 2-5 years of hands-on experience as a Power BI Developer
• Strong expertise in Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and Power Query
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and querying
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and star/snowflake schema designs
• Ability to create visually appealing and user-friendly dashboards
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent communication abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
• Familiarity with advanced Power BI features like Row-Level Security (RLS) and Power BI Service
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams
