Power BI Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy Power BI dashboards and reports for healthcare analytics use cases
• Build and optimize data models using Fact/Dimension, Star, and Snowflake schemas
• Write and debug advanced DAX measures for accuracy and efficiency
• Implement incremental refresh strategies for large datasets
• Create point-in-time historical dashboards for patient trends and longitudinal analysis
• Develop interactive features including Drill-through, Drill-down, Bookmarks, and Tooltips
• Integrate data from Google BigQuery, SQL Server, Azure, and AWS
• Ensure data quality, HIPAA compliance, and governance in all reporting solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Analytics, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in BI/reporting with expertise in Power BI
• Strong knowledge of DAX and Power Query (M language)
• Expertise in DirectQuery and Import methods
• Hands-on experience with Google BigQuery and cloud-based data warehouses
• Strong SQL skills for data extraction and transformation
• Experience with incremental refresh and healthcare datasets

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in healthcare analytics (payer, provider, or clinical data)
• Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare data governance
• Experience with AWS/Azure Data Services
• Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes
• Knowledge of Python or R for advanced analytics
