Poverty & Equity Analyst

Responsibilities

• Conduct econometric and statistical analyses using software tools such as Stata, R, or Python.
• Assist in survey design, supervision, coordination, and data cleaning.
• Manage the collection and cleaning of microdata and non-traditional data sources.
• Conduct literature reviews and synthesize research findings to support project goals.
• Help draft reports, policy briefs, and documentation to communicate research results.
• Support engagement and communication with government counterparts and stakeholders.
• Facilitate coordination between project team members, internal units, and external development partners.

Requirements

• Master's or PhD degree in Economics, Statistics, Public Policy, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in poverty reduction, labor markets, or inclusive growth.
• Proficiency in statistical software including Stata, R, or Python.
• Proven experience in designing and supervising surveys and managing microdata.
• Experience working with government counterparts and development partners in Ukraine.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Ukrainian.

Preferred Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant field.
• Experience analyzing and manipulating big data, such as satellite imagery or mobile phone data.
