Postdoctoral Researcher – Vehicular Traffic Simulation

Responsibilities

• Develop mathematical models in the area of nonparametric statistics to monitor processes
• Submit research articles to journals indexed in the JCR
• Publish research findings in peer-reviewed conferences indexed in SCOPUS
• Support the research work of undergraduate and postgraduate students
• Participate as a member of master’s or doctoral thesis committees
• Collaborate closely with the Food Security and Nutrition project team

Requirements

• PhD in Data Science, Systems, Statistics, Statistical Engineering, Engineering Sciences, Mathematics, or a related field
• Proven experience in transportation research
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
• Strong ability to perform mathematical, statistical, and computational analysis of experimental data
• Ability to coordinate the experimental work of undergraduate and graduate students
