About the role
Responsibilities
- Design and execute independent research projects centered on 3D genome organization in cancer
- Perform and optimize chromatin conformation assays, including HiChIP, HiC and related targeted 3D genome methods
- Generate and integrate complementary epigenomic datasets, including ATAC-seq, CUT&RUN, CUT&Tag
- Contribute to or initiate single-cell and spatial multi-omics projects
- Work with patient-derived organoid models
- Perform and optimize NGS library preparation protocols across multiple assay types
- Collaborate closely with computational scientists for data analysis and interpretation
- Lead manuscript preparation and contribute to grant development
- Mentor trainees and contribute to a collaborative lab environment
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Cancer Biology, Genomics, or a related field
- Strong experimental background in functional genomics and epigenomics assays
- Hands-on experience with next-generation sequencing (NGS) library preparation
- Experience with chromatin-based assays (e.g., ATAC-seq, HiC-based methods, CUT&RUN)
- Proven ability to independently design and execute experiments
- Strong publication record
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience with 3D genome assays (Hi-C, HiChIP, Capture-C)
- Experience with organoid culture systems
- Exposure to single-cell or spatial genomics technologies
- Basic familiarity with computational analysis using R or Python
