Postdoctoral Researcher

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, troubleshoot, and interpret experiments in coordination with the PI
• Contribute original scientific ideas and propose experimental approaches
• Perform biochemistry and molecular biology experiments
• Maintain rigorous documentation of experimental procedures and results
• Develop, optimize, and implement new experimental protocols
• Contribute to scientific manuscripts by drafting text and preparing figures
• Apply for individual fellowships, scholarships, and grant applications
• Present research findings at laboratory meetings and scientific conferences
• Provide guidance and support to junior trainees

Requirements

• PhD awarded within the previous 5 years, or MD/DDS within the previous 10 years
• Background in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biophysics, Protein Engineering, Structural Biology, Chemical Biology, Immunology, or Biomedical Engineering
• Experience in recombinant DNA techniques
• Experience in protein biochemistry and biophysics (expression, purification, and interaction analysis)
• Experience in mammalian cell culture
• Ability to independently design and interpret experiments
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Antibody design and engineering
• Protein structure determination using cryo-EM
• In vivo mouse studies (efficacy, pharmacokinetics, or toxicity)
