Postdoctoral Researcher

Responsibilities

• Design and implement multimodal drug foundation models integrating molecular graphs, transcriptomic signatures, and multi-omics data
• Develop transfer learning strategies for tasks including mechanism of action classification, drug response prediction, and toxicity profiling
• Architect secure, scalable, and privacy-preserving computational infrastructure for biomarker discovery
• Build agentic AI frameworks to harmonize clinical, genomic, and transcriptomic data across public and private cohorts
• Implement distributed and federated analysis pipelines to enable multi-cohort biomarker assessment without raw data centralization
• Collaborate with computational biologists, clinicians, and wet-lab scientists to validate and translate predictive models

Requirements

• PhD in a quantitative or biomedical discipline (e.g., Computational Biology, Machine Learning, Bioinformatics, or Data Science) awarded within the last 5 years
• Demonstrated experience applying deep learning to molecular, biological, or multi-omics data
• Expertise in modern AI/ML approaches such as Graph Neural Networks (GNNs), Transformers, or Generative models
• Strong programming proficiency in Python and/or R
• Practical experience with machine learning frameworks like PyTorch or Hugging Face
• Proficiency with reproducible workflow management systems such as Snakemake or Nextflow
• Familiarity with cloud or high-performance computing (HPC) environments (e.g., GCP, AWS, or SLURM)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with clinical data harmonization (e.g., OMOP CDM, HL7 FHIR)
• Experience designing scalable bioinformatics pipelines for large-scale genomic datasets
• Understanding of federated learning, secure distributed computing, or clinical data governance
• Proven track record of publication in relevant computational or biomedical fields
