Postdoctoral Researcher

Responsibilities

• Design and execute independent research projects focused on 3D genome organization in cancer
• Perform and optimize chromatin conformation assays, including HiChIP, HiC, and related targeted methods
• Generate and integrate epigenomic datasets using ATAC-seq, CUT&RUN, and CUT&Tag
• Contribute to single-cell and spatial multi-omics projects and work with patient-derived organoid models
• Perform and optimize NGS library preparation protocols across multiple assay types
• Collaborate with computational scientists for data analysis and interpretation
• Lead manuscript preparation, contribute to grant development, and mentor trainees

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Cancer Biology, Genomics, or a related field
• Strong experimental background in functional genomics and epigenomics assays
• Hands-on experience with next-generation sequencing (NGS) library preparation
• Experience with chromatin-based assays (e.g., ATAC-seq, HiC-based methods, CUT&RUN)
• Proven ability to independently design and execute complex experiments
• Strong publication record and excellent English communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience with 3D genome assays such as Hi-C, HiChIP, or Capture-C
• Experience with organoid culture systems
• Exposure to single-cell or spatial genomics technologies
• Basic familiarity with computational analysis of genomic data using R or Python
