About the role
Responsibilities
- Design and execute independent research projects focused on 3D genome organization in cancer
- Perform and optimize chromatin conformation assays, including HiChIP, HiC, and related targeted methods
- Generate and integrate epigenomic datasets using ATAC-seq, CUT&RUN, and CUT&Tag
- Contribute to single-cell and spatial multi-omics projects and work with patient-derived organoid models
- Perform and optimize NGS library preparation protocols across multiple assay types
- Collaborate with computational scientists for data analysis and interpretation
- Lead manuscript preparation, contribute to grant development, and mentor trainees
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Cancer Biology, Genomics, or a related field
- Strong experimental background in functional genomics and epigenomics assays
- Hands-on experience with next-generation sequencing (NGS) library preparation
- Experience with chromatin-based assays (e.g., ATAC-seq, HiC-based methods, CUT&RUN)
- Proven ability to independently design and execute complex experiments
- Strong publication record and excellent English communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience with 3D genome assays such as Hi-C, HiChIP, or Capture-C
- Experience with organoid culture systems
- Exposure to single-cell or spatial genomics technologies
- Basic familiarity with computational analysis of genomic data using R or Python
