Postdoctoral Researcher - Smart Manufacturing Engineering

Responsibilities

• Conduct applied scientific research in manufacturing engineering, specifically focusing on Digital Twin development for smart manufacturing applications.
• Write scientific articles for publication in high-impact JCR journals.
• Develop funding proposals to support ongoing and future research projects.
• Perform simulations using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and develop digital twins.
• Execute mechanical design, mechatronic integration, and work with IoT and automation technologies.
• Utilize additive and subtractive manufacturing skills.
• Collaborate closely with Dr. Pedro Daniel Urbina Coronado.

Requirements

• PhD in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Aerospace, Control Systems, or Manufacturing Engineering (or a related field).
• Proven track record of scientific production in JCR Journals and/or international conferences.
• Experience in managing and mentoring students.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
