Postdoctoral Researcher or Senior Postdoctoral Researcher (Ultrafast AMO Theory group)

Responsibilities

• Conduct theoretical studies of attosecond electron dynamics in complex environments, such as solvated molecules or solids.
• Develop and apply large-scale calculations to investigate electron dynamics and their expected experimental signatures.
• Publish research findings regularly in refereed scientific literature.
• Present research results at professional meetings and conferences.
• Assist in the supervision of graduate and undergraduate thesis work within the ultrafast theory group.
• For Senior Postdoctoral roles: Conduct independent research to open new avenues of investigation.

Requirements

• PhD in physics, chemistry, or a related field.
• For Senior Postdoctoral Researcher: 3 years of related professional work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in time-dependent quantum dynamics or quantum chemistry.
• Experience with high harmonic generation or large-scale computation.
• Familiarity with standard quantum chemistry codes.
