Postdoctoral Researcher - Nature Inspired

Responsibilities

• Pioneer research areas by intellectually engaging with the research group
• Design and conduct experiments to develop nature-inspired strategies for biopolymer condensates
• Write research proposals and publish results in peer-reviewed journals
• Train undergraduate and graduate students in laboratory techniques
• Coordinate purchasing and manage laboratory resources

Requirements

• Doctoral degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, Polymer Materials Science, Polymer Engineering, or a closely related field
• Prior publication record in the characterization of the structure and dynamics of soft condensed matter
• Experience with rheological and scattering techniques

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with the production, isolation, and characterization of peptides and proteins
