Postdoctoral Researcher

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on membrane design and synthesis to achieve high selectivity for recovering rare earth elements from heterogeneous mixtures
• Apply AI/ML methods to improve material design and optimize the overall electrodialysis process
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary experts in polymer design, membrane fabrication, synchrotron-based characterization, and TEA/LCA analysis
• Write technical reports for project sponsors, prepare manuscripts for publication, and present research findings at scientific conferences

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related field
• Proven experience with organic synthesis
• Demonstrated interest in developing AI/ML models

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing AI/ML and computational models specifically for scientific or engineering applications
