Postdoctoral Researcher

Responsibilities

• Conduct research utilizing in vivo and in vitro imaging techniques, metabolic profiling, and biobank management
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of researchers to investigate the effects of physical and psychological stressors on athlete health
• Investigate mechanistic underpinnings of early morbidity and mortality in military, first responders, and competitive athletes
• Create and manage a biobank of clinical samples to screen for novel biomarkers of stress linked to clinical outcomes
• Contribute to scholarly productivity and grant writing efforts to support the mission of the Institute for Health & Performance of Champions

Requirements

• Proven scholarly productivity and experience with grant writing
• Experience with in vivo and in vitro imaging techniques
• Proficiency in metabolic profiling
• Experience in biobank management
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary research environment
