Postdoctoral Researcher in Cardiovascular Preclinical Research

Responsibilities

• Provide surgical support in porcine animal models for myocardial infarction induction, femoral bypass, and MRI studies
• Perform animal monitoring and angiographic follow-up analysis
• Execute general and specific laboratory protocols including cell culture, histology, immunohistochemistry, PCR, and Western Blot
• Develop research protocols associated with specific research lines
• Conduct statistical data analysis
• Write and review scientific articles and competitive or private research grant applications
• Collaborate with other cardiovascular researchers to achieve group objectives

Requirements

• PhD in Veterinary Medicine, Medicine (preferably Cardiac Surgery or Cardiology), Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or Biomedicine
• Certified training in animal experimentation (Category C)
• Fluency in English
• Willingness to work in a team and focus on cardiovascular diseases and cardiac regeneration
• Experience in porcine surgery is highly valued
• Experience in cell culture, tissue engineering, histology, or immunohistochemistry is highly valued
