Postdoctoral Researcher - Exercise Science

Responsibilities

• Assist with active research projects, including clinical trial coordination, participant recruitment, and data collection/analysis
• Support the training and mentorship of student researchers
• Assist in the writing and submission of grant proposals
• Conduct autonomous research using laboratory resources to pursue an independent research agenda
• Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals

Requirements

• PhD in Neuroscience, Exercise Physiology, Rehabilitation Sciences, or a related field
• Ability to work onsite in Syracuse, NY

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience conducting motor-related TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) or fNIRS (functional Near-Infrared Spectroscopy) studies
• Proficiency in programming or coding languages such as Matlab or Python
• Strong scientific writing skills for publications and grant proposals
