Postdoctoral Research Scientist

Responsibilities

• Develop high-performance polymers for sodium-ion batteries
• Plan and execute research projects independently
• Develop and characterize composite cathode-catholyte polymer materials
• Functionalize polymer surfaces and study physical and electrochemical properties
• Supervise and mentor undergraduate researchers
• Prepare and submit manuscripts to peer-reviewed journals
• Present research findings at scientific conferences
• Maintain and develop laboratory equipment and facilities
• Collaborate in group meetings and contribute to reports and publications

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Expertise in sodium-ion batteries
• Experience in polymer electrolyte synthesis
• Experience with laboratory instrumentation, including impedance spectroscopy
• Proficiency in microscopy techniques such as SEM and TEM
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Ability to maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment
