Responsibilities

• Design and conduct experiments addressing fundamental technological challenges
• Lead the development and refinement of emerging technologies
• Contribute to impactful scientific publications
• Actively support the mentorship of junior researchers
• Work at the intersection of chemistry, biology, physics, and engineering to redefine biotechnology

Requirements

• PhD in a relevant field (e.g., chemical biology, organic chemistry, materials science, biophysics, or biomedical engineering)
• Proven record of research achievements and high-impact publications
• Skill in data analysis and interpretation
• Experience in areas such as single-molecule techniques, protein engineering, stem cell culture, or microfluidics
• Ability to work independently and solve complex experimental problems
• Strong troubleshooting and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Right to work permanently in the UK

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with device design and fabrication
• Experience with computational modelling and analysis
• Ability to build and sustain productive multidisciplinary collaborations
