Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Extracellular Vesicle Analysis

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of an innovative platform for engineering chiral extracellular vesicles (EVs)
• Undertake independent research in EV analysis using various spectroscopic tools
• Maintain and supervise the EV Analysis Facility at Macquarie University
• Prepare, write, and submit high-quality research manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals
• Collaborate with senior staff to secure external funding and prepare research proposals
• Foster interdisciplinary collaborations with academic and industry partners
• Supervise students working on research projects and ensure workplace health and safety

Requirements

• PhD in analytical chemistry, bioanalysis, biosensors, or a related discipline
• Proven experience in cell biology and biotechnology
• Experience in nanomaterials and extracellular vesicle research
• Demonstrated research excellence through high-quality peer-reviewed publications
• Experience in project leadership within interdisciplinary or multidisciplinary teams
• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
• Valid Australian working rights
