Postdoctoral Fellowship - Technology, Law & Society

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent, subject-specific research at the intersection of law, technology, governance, and society
• Establish and further a productive scholarly agenda through publications and research activities
• Engage with the academic community at the Peter A. Allard School of Law
• Potentially teach a course or seminar during the fellowship term

Requirements

• JD, LLB, or equivalent law degree
• Doctoral degree in law or a related discipline (or substantially completed)
• Within five years of completing your doctoral degree
• Demonstrated research interest in law and technology (e.g., AI, privacy, cybersecurity, platform regulation, or digital rights)
• Not have previously held more than one postdoctoral fellowship appointment
• Not currently hold, or be on leave from, a faculty position

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using innovative methodologies or interdisciplinary approaches to legal research
• A strong record of scholarly publications and a clear research plan

Benefits

• Annual salary of $90,000
