Responsibilities

• Conduct independent and collaborative research in immunology and related areas
• Design and perform in vitro and in vivo immune cell assessment
• Establish tools and perform assays to assess immune cell migration
• Design, execute and analyze experiments
• Present experimental data in both written and oral formats
• Prepare manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals
• Mentor research assistants and interns in the lab

Requirements

• PhD in immunology, molecular biology, genetics, biochemistry, or a related field
• Proficiency in molecular cloning and CRISPR gene editing
• Experience with viral transduction methods
• Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with mice and generating transgenic or genetically modified primary T cells
• Proficiency in flow cytometry
• Experience with bioluminescence and fluorescence microscopy
• Strong knowledge of immunology literature and current challenges
