About the role
Responsibilities
- Design and perform experiments focused on gene and protein expression in vitro and in vivo
- Develop and maintain advanced cell culture systems, including macrophage models and multicellular 2D/3D culture platforms
- Perform co-culture experiments involving immune and stromal cell populations
- Conduct immunostaining on paraffin and frozen tissue sections
- Analyze high-throughput datasets, including RNA-seq and proteomics data
- Assist in the preparation of grant proposals, manuscripts, and presentations
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure optimal research conditions
- Collaborate with internal and external research teams
Requirements
- PhD in molecular biology, immunology, biomedical engineering, or a related field
- Strong expertise in cell culture, specifically with macrophages and immune cell systems
- Proven problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with multicellular 2D and 3D culture models (e.g., co-culture systems, organoid/spheroid models)
- Experience with RNA-seq and/or proteomics data analysis
- Experience with murine models and basic surgical techniques
