Postdoctoral Associate

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and analyze in vitro and in vivo studies of cardiovascular disease using animal models
• Maintain detailed records of all procedures and experiments in laboratory notebooks
• Compile data, perform necessary calculations, and present findings at national conferences
• Publish research results in high-impact scientific journals
• Develop independent research projects under the guidance of the Principal Investigator
• Perform genetic matings to generate specific animal models of heart disease
• Instruct and train students, technicians, and laboratory assistants

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Cellular & Molecular Physiology, Pharmacology, or an equivalent field
• Ability to work in a laboratory environment involving prolonged standing, walking, and manual dexterity
• Availability to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime, weekends, or holidays to meet research deadlines
