Postdoctoral Associate

Responsibilities

• Conduct surgical research under the direct supervision of Department of Surgery Faculty
• Design and perform experiments, collect data, and analyze results
• Write manuscripts and present research findings to the scientific community
• Maintain detailed records, files, and databases of experimental data
• Contribute to computational modeling studies through direct or collaborative involvement
• Collaborate with postdocs, residents, students, and faculty to support team science
• Participate in the evaluation of surgical procedures and propose new or revised methods

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. degree
• Minimum of two years of post-graduate training in a surgery residency
• Demonstrated interest in surgical research
