Postdoctoral Associate

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent laboratory research under the direction of the Principal Investigator in the Feng Laboratory
• Execute experimental and bioinformatics studies regarding the regulation and function of tumor suppressor p53 and its mutants
• Investigate the role of tumor suppressors and target genes in the tumor microenvironment and tumor immunology
• Prepare written reports of research experiments and contribute to grant proposals
• Deliver oral presentations of research findings to the scientific community

Requirements

• PhD degree in a relevant field (candidates in the final stages of completing a PhD will be considered)
• Strong background in molecular biology and cancer biology
• Effective oral and written communication skills with the ability to publish scientific research
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and database/reporting tools
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a laboratory setting
