Postdoctoral Associate

Responsibilities

• Design, perform, and analyze experiments focusing on the development and function of novel innate immune cells in tissues such as the lung and brain.
• Utilize laboratory techniques including flow cytometry, animal models, single-cell RNA-seq, multiplex cytokine assays, and immunofluorescence imaging.
• Prepare manuscripts for publication and assist the Principal Investigator in developing grant applications.
• Participate in lab meetings, research seminars, and professional conferences.
• Maintain clear, detailed, and accessible laboratory records and data.
• Assist in the instruction and training of undergraduate and graduate students in laboratory procedures.

Requirements

• PhD degree or ABD (All But Degree) status.
• Proven track record of published scientific articles.
• Proficiency in English with strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and general computer literacy.
• Ability to work both collaboratively and independently in a laboratory environment.
