Postdoctoral Associate

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, design, and implement research and program evaluation projects to support the lab's mission.
• Identify research projects that contribute to the body of knowledge regarding integrated behavioral health, addiction, and psychology.
• Translate research ideas into concrete, implementable projects that meet scientific inquiry standards and University requirements.
• Assist the AVP in preparing research proposals to secure grant support from federal, state, local, and foundation sources.
• Provide technical assistance to the research lab based on needs assessments and data collection.
• Manage and coordinate research projects under the supervision of the AVP.
• Prepare and submit manuscripts summarizing research projects to professional journals and publications.

Requirements

• PhD, MD, or MD/PhD in clinical or counseling psychology (Candidates in All But Degree (ABD) status will be considered).
• Strong organizational, planning, and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary research team.
