Post Summer Sports Camp Manager

Responsibilities

• Supervise assigned summer camp sessions to ensure a safe and welcoming environment
• Manage the daily sign-in and dismissal processes for all campers
• Oversee the Recreation Center throughout the day to maintain organization
• Perform opening and closing procedures for the camp facilities
• Uphold LIU policies when managing conflicts with patrons and staff
• Maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude to engage with all participants

Requirements

• Experience working with children
• Experience working with summer camps or team-specific sports
• Experience managing staff members
• Ability to work flexible hours Monday through Friday
• Ability to travel occasionally to other LIU campuses for training and meetings
