Post Production Support Technical Specialist

Responsibilities

• Support customer post-go-live for the Charles River Investment Management Solution (CRIMS)
• Configure and tune applications to meet specific client business and technical needs
• Lead and manage multiple technical initiatives and tasks simultaneously
• Participate in functional and technical requirements gathering and review
• Create, test, and correct inbound and outbound interfaces
• Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and customer staff to resolve complex issues
• Serve as a technical expert in implementation or supporting projects

Requirements

• BS/MS in Computer Science or an equivalent technical field
• 3-5 years of experience in the financial services industry
• Proficiency in Java and C# programming
• Experience with XML and XSLT
• Strong knowledge of RDBMS such as Oracle or MS SQL Server
• Experience with ETL tools like Kettle or Talend
• Proficiency working in Windows and Unix/Linux environments
• Ability to travel 30-50% to client sites

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous consulting background or OMS implementation experience
• Experience with system integration using ETL tools
• Knowledge of Azure and Snowflake
• Experience with messaging software such as Kafka, MQ Series, or MSMQ
• Familiarity with SCM tools like Perforce
