Post Production Manager/Head Editor

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of five internal editors and a pool of freelancers
• Ensure the quality, consistency, and delivery cadence of all video content across the group
• Structure and optimize post-production workflows, including naming conventions, archiving, and asset management
• Direct the production of premium formats through high-level editing and artistic direction
• Manage production schedules and prioritize tasks between different business entities
• Create and maintain reusable asset libraries, including templates, presets, and motion graphics
• Monitor content performance metrics (retention, CTR) to iterate on editing styles and hooks

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional video editing experience
• 2+ years of experience working with long-form formats (YouTube, documentaries, or interviews)
• Proven experience in team management or coordination of editors and freelancers
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
• Knowledge of DaVinci Resolve
• Strong skills in motion design and sound design
• Proficiency in project management tools such as Notion or ClickUp
• Deep understanding of social media video codes (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok)
