Post Production Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide first and second-line technical support for post-production facilities, including video edit, 2D/3D graphics, and audio mixing environments
• Diagnose and resolve issues within post-production and storage environments
• Document technical problems and their resolutions effectively
• Plan system upgrades and advise on workflow development in collaboration with the Lead Engineer
• Manage technical upgrades and new installations, coordinating with third-party providers when necessary
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure maximum system availability and manage the maintenance cycle
• Manage spares inventory to ensure current and accessible stock levels
• Provide remote support to other European markets as required

Requirements

• Education in Electronic Engineering or a related field
• 3+ years of demonstrable experience in broadcast post-production support
• Technical competence across a wide range of broadcast-related areas
• Previous experience working within the TV industry, ideally with a major broadcaster or post-production facility
