Post-Doctoral Research Scholar

Responsibilities

• Lead independent and collaborative research projects focused on systems immunology and multi-omics
• Analyze and integrate complex multi-omics datasets, including single-cell and bulk transcriptomics
• Develop and implement computational pipelines using R and Python
• Collaborate with clinical teams to identify immune mechanisms and biomarkers for sepsis and MODS
• Prepare manuscripts for publication and contribute to grant applications
• Mentor students and research staff within the laboratory

Requirements

• M.D. or PhD degree
• Degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Immunology, or a related field
• Strong programming skills in R and/or Python
• Experience with Next Generation Sequencing (NGS)
• Proven record of peer-reviewed publications

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with single-cell and multi-omics integration
• Familiarity with tools such as RNA-seq, EdgeR, Seurat, Harmony, Monocle3, or scVelo
• Experience working with clinical datasets and High-Performance Computing (HPC)
• Experience with laboratory bench work
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
