About the role
Responsibilities
- Conduct interdisciplinary research under the supervision of the Director and Assistant Director
- Analyze large-scale datasets to support ongoing research initiatives
- Develop written materials including research papers, reports, and briefs for academics, policymakers, and the general public
- Collaborate with Asian American community organizations
- Advance an independent research agenda during the fellowship period
Requirements
- Ph.D. in a relevant field (conferred after May 1, 2021, or expected by August 1, 2026)
- Training in social science or humanities disciplines (e.g., sociology, history, ethnic studies, education, political science)
- Proficiency in both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
- Advanced knowledge of statistical software such as SPSS or STATA
