Post Doctoral Research Associate

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent research in fluorescence spectroscopy, multi-photon fluorescence imaging, and laser-based photochemical kinetic studies
• Operate and maintain ultrafast laser and associated microscopy systems and experimental setups
• Analyze and interpret experimental data and prepare results for publication in peer-reviewed journals
• Present research findings at national and international conferences
• Train and mentor graduate and undergraduate students in specialized laboratory techniques
• Contribute to grant proposal writing and project development
• Collaborate with other research groups within the department and external institutions

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field
• Demonstrated expertise in fluorescence spectroscopy and multi-photon fluorescence imaging
• Extensive experience with ultrafast lasers and their applications
• Strong background in laser-based photochemical kinetic studies
• Proven ability to design, conduct, and interpret complex experiments
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in student training and mentorship
