Responsibilities
- Conduct original research in solar flare physics using radio observations and multi-wavelength data
- Utilize data from the Owens Valley Solar Arrays, including EOVSA and OVRO-LWA
- Investigate energy release and particle acceleration in solar eruptive events
- Participate in multi-institutional collaborations on joint observation-model studies
- Contribute to solar radio instrumentation operations and the development of next-generation tools
Requirements
- Ph.D. in physics, astrophysics, space physics, or a closely related field
- Experience analyzing solar data
- Solid understanding of solar physics, plasma physics, and radiative transfer
- Working knowledge of Python
- Experience working in Linux and/or macOS environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with radio interferometry and synthesis imaging
