Post-Contract Quantity Surveyor (Site)

Responsibilities

• Measure, verify, and quantify completed works using software such as PlanSwift or On-Screen Takeoff (OST).
• Prepare, review, and certify monthly interim payment applications and payment certificates for contractors and subcontractors.
• Monitor project costs and expenditures to ensure alignment with approved budgets.
• Update and maintain project cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and budget tracking documents.
• Prepare, evaluate, and negotiate variation orders (VOs), including cost and time implication assessments.
• Perform detailed rate analyses and cost assessments for variations, claims, and additional works.
• Review subcontractor payment applications and final account submissions for contractual compliance.
• Participate in value engineering to identify cost-saving materials and construction methods.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure accurate commercial administration.
• Maintain comprehensive records of measurements, claims, and contractual documentation.
• Assist in the negotiation and settlement of final accounts with clients and suppliers.

Requirements

• 5 to 8 years of professional experience within the UAE construction industry.
• Bachelor's degree or a higher diploma in a relevant field.
• Proficiency in quantity take-off software such as PlanSwift or On-Screen Takeoff (OST).
• Proven experience in managing variation orders and performing detailed rate analysis.
• Strong ability to manage and process interim payment applications.
