Post-bacc Research Assistant

Responsibilities

• Oversee participant recruitment, screening, scheduling, and assessments in collaboration with research staff and graduate students
• Assist with the management of human subject regulations defined by the university and federal government
• Support faculty supervisors with IRB documentation, including approvals, amendments, and renewals
• Assist with NIH documentation such as progress reports, Data Safety and Monitoring Boards, and Data Sharing
• Perform administrative tasks including coordinating weekly project meetings and maintaining meeting minutes
• Support data quality efforts and the processing of biospecimen kits and samples
• Provide mentorship and training to undergraduate research assistants

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in project management, health, social, or behavioral sciences
• Prior experience and interest in managing or conducting research in social science and health fields
• Demonstrated organizational and management skills with strong attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a research lab within the health, social, or behavioral sciences
• Experience working in a lab involving federally funded human subjects behavioral, health-related, or psychological research studies
