Responsibilities
- Assign and coordinate daily shipping and receiving tasks among team members
- Lead and oversee staff performance to ensure productivity and accuracy
- Maintain timely fulfillment, packing, and shipment of orders
- Ensure all inventory is correctly received, labeled, and stored
- Update and maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts and audits
- Communicate issues, updates, and performance to the Shift Supervisor
- Monitor workflow and adjust staffing or priorities to meet deadlines
- Enforce company policies, safety guidelines, and warehouse best practices
- Monitor special projects when assigned
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in warehouse distribution
- 1-3 years of experience in a customer service lead position
- Intermediate proficiency in SAP
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as Electric Pallet jack, Reach truck, and cherry picker preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics or a related field
- Forklift Certification
