Portfolio Risk & Risk Measurement Analyst - AVP

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize the bank's credit risk exposure through monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on the creditworthiness of the lending portfolio.
• Conduct portfolio analytics to ensure the risk profile is understood and risk appetite is appropriately set across sectors and geographic regions.
• Develop and utilize quantitative models and risk forecasting tools to measure and predict potential credit losses.
• Perform portfolio stress testing exercises to assess the impact of various economic and market scenarios.
• Provide second-line oversight through detailed risk measurement, including impairment and capital oversight.
• Communicate complex findings and insights to risk committees and key stakeholders.
• Lead collaborative assignments or teams, providing guidance and coaching to ensure operational effectiveness.

Requirements

• Strong forecasting and quantitative analysis capabilities.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as SAS or Python.
• Proven ability to extract, analyze, and present data independently.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience in a second-line risk function or similar regulatory oversight role.

Preferred Qualifications

• Deep understanding of credit risk principles.
• Strong understanding of control frameworks and governance practices.
• Experience with regulatory capital positions and RWA forecasting tools.
