About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead Mumbai Lending team to support onshore team in managing a portfolio of loans to HNW and UHNW clients
- Prepare high quality credit presentations summarizing loan purpose, terms, risks, and credit strengths
- Apply financial principles and techniques to analyze information and loan collateral
- Monitor market and client financial conditions to identify and escalate potential negative trends
- Maintain and update borrower loan data in internal systems and trackers
- Participate in the development and updates of process and procedure documents
Requirements
- University undergraduate degree
- 7+ years of experience in lending within a regulated environment, preferably in Private Banking
- Strong understanding of the HNW/UHNW business
- Demonstrated risk and program management skills with a control mindset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Experience writing credit presentations, policies, and responses to audit/regulatory inquiries
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
