Portfolio Optimization Leader

Responsibilities

• Drive enterprise-level value creation through portfolio optimization, process improvement, and product rationalization using 80/20 capabilities.
• Govern a large, cross-functional portfolio of over 800 projects to simplify complexity and ensure resources are focused on high-value opportunities.
• Establish governance, prioritization, and review mechanisms to enable disciplined decision-making and eliminate low-value work.
• Provide enterprise visibility into benefit tracing across Operating Income, Revenue Growth, ROIC, Free Cash Flow, and customer satisfaction.
• Report portfolio status, value realization, and risks to Senior Leaders.
• Mine the portfolio to identify repeatable initiatives and scalable solutions for enterprise-wide deployment.
• Redirect human, financial, and technological resources toward high-impact initiatives.
• Champion a culture of simplification, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 10–15+ years of experience in operations, strategy, or continuous improvement.
• Proven experience with 80/20 methodology.
• Experience with Lean or segmentation methodologies.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to pinpoint leverage points.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence senior leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA degree.
• Experience leading large-scale organizational transformation or change management.
