Portfolio Manager, Multi-Asset Strategies & Solutions - Physical Equity

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior PM for the MASS Physical Equity book, designing, constructing, and managing physical equity portfolios and sleeves.
• Lead day-to-day portfolio management activities, including implementing investment strategies, managing client flows, and overseeing FX hedging and rebalancing.
• Monitor portfolio positioning, performance, and risk to ensure mandates align with investment guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Drive innovation in the use of Aladdin portfolio management tools and automation capabilities to scale investment processes.
• Collaborate with researchers and strategists across BlackRock to develop capabilities that support consistent alpha generation.
• Establish strong governance and shared methodologies for portfolio construction across multiple investment products.

Requirements

• 7 to 10 years of experience in global active quantitative equity portfolio management or a closely related role.
• Deep understanding of portfolio construction and optimization under various constraints.
• Experience managing equity instruments, equity derivatives, and FX hedges for global mandates.
• Strong analytical and risk-management skills with a systems-oriented mindset.
• Technical proficiency in Python, Tableau, and SQL.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with ESG signals and regulations.
• Knowledge of corporate actions processing and equity trading conventions (e.g., round lots, stamp taxes).
• Experience managing workflows and projects across a team of portfolio managers.
