Portfolio Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle of the North American Flexport Capital customer base, managing a team of Account Managers to drive revenue growth and strategic retention.
• Maximize revenue per customer by identifying opportunities for credit line increases, utilization improvement, and cross-selling additional products like term loans.
• Utilize supply chain data to identify commercial signals and drive timely, targeted actions for customer growth.
• Serve as the frontline commercial intelligence for the credit and risk teams by monitoring financial health, repayment behavior, and market conditions.
• Build and maintain senior-level relationships with CFOs, Finance Directors, and CEOs to position Flexport Capital as a strategic partner.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Legal, and Credit teams to develop bundled freight-capital propositions and inform product decisions.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in commercial finance, fintech lending, specialty finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in people management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-product lending portfolios with accountability for revenue and credit health.
• Deep fluency in working capital structures, covenant compliance, lien priority, UCC filings, and collections.
• Strong commercial instincts with a proven track record of driving expansion revenue within an existing customer base.
• Excellent executive presence and the ability to navigate difficult conversations with C-suite stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Salesforce and other data tools to design dashboards and reporting frameworks.
