Portfolio Manager

Responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of the North American Flexport Capital customer base, managing a team of Account Managers to drive revenue, retention, and credit health.
• Maximize revenue per customer by identifying opportunities for credit line increases, utilization improvements, and cross-selling additional products like term loans.
• Build and maintain senior-level relationships with C-suite executives, including CFOs and CEOs, to position Flexport Capital as a strategic partner.
• Utilize supply chain data and financial signals to identify at-risk accounts and drive timely, targeted commercial actions.
• Serve as frontline commercial intelligence for the credit and risk teams by monitoring repayment behavior and market conditions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Legal, and Credit teams to develop bundled freight-capital propositions and refine the team's growth playbook.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in commercial finance, fintech lending, specialty finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in people management.
• Proven ability to manage complex, multi-product lending portfolios with accountability for revenue and credit health.
• Deep fluency in working capital structures, covenant compliance, lien priority, UCC filings, and workout mechanics.
• Strong commercial instincts with a track record of driving expansion revenue within an existing customer base.
• Excellent executive presence and the ability to navigate difficult conversations with senior leadership.
• Proficiency in Salesforce and data tools, with the ability to design reporting frameworks for portfolio health.
