About the role
Responsibilities
- Conduct annual loan reviews including affordability testing, DSCR, and LTV assessment
- Assist with loan conversions from construction to term
- Complete formal memos for post-final-advance credit events
- Obtain and track post-construction financing information such as permits, insurance, and rent rolls
- Collect and track financial and property information for portfolio management projects
- Contact borrower clients to obtain financial information or explanations
- Act as a liaison between the CMHC ACLP team and the Portfolio Surveillance team
- Support growth and strategic initiatives through various assigned projects
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in business administration, accounting, finance, real estate, or economics
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and accountability
Preferred Qualifications
- Passion for real estate and commercial lending
- Understanding of construction development or multi-unit residential properties
