Portfolio Hedging & Optimization Analyst

Responsibilities

• Support the assessment, structuring, and execution of Significant Risk Transfer (SRT) transactions, including due diligence and portfolio construction.
• Partner with internal Structuring, Treasury, and Middle Office teams to execute new structured transactions as part of a deal team.
• Manage ongoing optimization of structured transactions, coordinating with external parties such as law firms, rating agencies, and agent banks.
• Support investor engagement by addressing queries related to existing and prospective transactions.
• Assist with wider portfolio optimization initiatives, including analytics, returns, and model enhancements.
• Facilitate process enhancements to improve the efficiency and productivity of the SRT program.

Requirements

• Proven experience in decision support and recommendation development underpinned by quantitative and legal documentation analysis.
• Strong ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience in operational process design and optimization.
• Ability to deliver high-quality output under tight timelines within a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• Strong quantitative foundation with the ability to apply interpretative thinking to complex, multi-layered problems.

Preferred Qualifications

• General understanding of SRT (Significant Risk Transfer) transaction structures and broad market knowledge.
• Understanding of corporate loan portfolio management and associated credit risk.
• Experience operating in fast-paced execution environments with a high level of attention to detail.
