Portfolio Analytics Associate

Responsibilities

• Perform evergreen fund and asset-level analytics including time series, cross-sectional value driver, and risk-return analysis
• Execute deal, investment, and company-level attribution and sector analytics
• Produce scenario, risk-concentration, and macro-trend analyses
• Generate portfolio analytics to support cash-flow projections, pacing, liquidity, and volatility reviews
• Help systematize data pipelines (ETL) for analytical dashboards in partnership with Technology teams
• Deliver end-to-end single-asset analytics including back-testing and forward-looking NPV/IRR/ROE models
• Supply rolling NAV and cash-flow projections to support Portfolio Management and Deal teams
• Monitor private markets industry landscape to inform macro analytics and market mapping

Requirements

• Relevant experience in private markets focusing on analytics, portfolio management, investments, or risk
• High proficiency in financial modelling, data analysis, and accounting
• Expertise in return attribution, J-curve/L-curve analytics, and risk-adjusted metrics
• Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, Power BI, or Python
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Econometrics, Data Science, or a related field
• Financial qualification (CFA, CAIA, FRM, ACA) or currently working towards one
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in financial services, specifically within private markets or fund of funds structures
• Deep exposure to semi-liquid/evergreen products (e.g., 1940 Act)
• Understanding of ETL processes and cloud warehouse technologies like Snowflake or Databricks
