Porter

Responsibilities

• Perform general housekeeping, sanitation, and drum washing duties to maintain facility cleanliness and safety standards
• Clean and sanitize production containers, drums, and pallets using proper chemical concentrations and protocols
• Maintain indoor and outdoor areas, including offices, break rooms, restrooms, and common spaces
• Execute routine tasks according to a weekly maintenance schedule, including floor care, trash removal, and window cleaning
• Manage inventory of janitorial supplies and equipment
• Assist the maintenance team and service contractors as required
• Support corporate quality initiatives and continuous improvement efforts

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
• Ability to push and pull up to 300 lbs
• Proficiency in English (speaking, writing, and reading)
• Basic computer knowledge and skills
• Willingness to work overtime or weekends as workload demands

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as a porter, janitor, or sanitor
• Experience operating a pallet jack
• Knowledge of cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices)
