Porter

Responsibilities

• Perform general housekeeping, sanitation, and drum washing duties to maintain facility cleanliness and safety standards
• Clean and sanitize production containers, drums, and pallets using proper chemical concentrations and protocols
• Maintain indoor and outdoor areas, including offices, break rooms, restrooms, and common spaces
• Manage janitorial supply inventory and perform routine maintenance tasks according to a weekly schedule
• Assist the maintenance team and service contractors as required
• Support corporate quality initiatives and continuous improvement efforts within the job scope

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, and writing)
• Basic computer knowledge and skills
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs
• Ability to push and pull up to 300 lbs
• Willingness to work overtime or weekends as workload demands

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as a porter, janitor, or sanitor
• Experience operating a pallet jack
• Knowledge of cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices)
