Porter Lead

Responsibilities

• Train production personnel to operate machinery and understand sanitation methods
• Monitor and record porter staff performance to meet daily cleaning requirements
• Operate all machinery and equipment within manual and expertise boundaries
• Train staff in cleaning equipment operation and good manufacturing practices
• Maintain accurate documentation for employee performance and facility cleanliness
• Provide objective feedback to the Sanitation Supervisor
• Meet or exceed daily cleaning requirements per shift

Requirements

• 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Previous leadership experience preferred
• Experience with sanitation or cleaning equipment preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (speaking, writing, reading)
• Ability to organize and prioritize work
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 300 lbs
• Willingness to work overtime or weekends as demanded
